Prepare holiday and picnic
A 2.25# cf head made 7 cups of crumbles. This is a family favorite. I even got a fist pump from my picky one when I made it tonight.
Really did not like this. Probably a much bigger concern as others had with the too-crunchy nature of cauliflower rice than the recipe, however this was a Sunday dinner fail. I make this on a regular basis, love it!!
I added floor turkey to make it extra hearty and froze to bring to work for lunch. I made sure to not overcook the cauliflower and it has held up properly. Hi, I’m Gina Homolka, a busy mother of two women, writer and recipe developer here at Skinnytaste.com. My meals philosophy is to eat seasonal, entire foods and preserve good portion management (every little thing sparsely!). I don’t have a meals processor both and the price that I even have seen within the supermarket for a small bag is ridiculous. Yep, meals processor or I honestly simply use a field grater, like one you'd typically use for cheese since I don’t have a food processor. Thanks for one more terrific recipe.
It’s even higher the second day. In the absence of tomatoes I use a can is rotel. If you've a Trader Joe’s near you, they simply started selling luggage of cauliflower rice in the produce section. Think I can I use tomato sauce as a substitute of paste??? I have all the opposite ingredients. If you might be fortunate sufficient to stay near a Wegmans, they often have riced cauliflower too.
I served this with ground turkey that I seasoned with DIY taco seasoning. I topped it with chopped contemporary onion, tomato, cilantro, and avocado. Cheese and Greek would be nice additions however I doing the Whole30 thing. I made this recipe yesterday and it was very scrumptious. I reheated it the next day for leftovers but it does make the cauliflower more tender so for that purpose, better the day before. Overall, I actually thought it was a quick recipe to throw collectively. My neighborhood store doesn’t sell cf crumbles so I made them myself with the grater/shredder insert of my meals processor.
